You’re fighting against wave after wave of enemies. Players progress through the game going from screen to screen. It’s a natural continuation of Streets of Rage. It’s a clear sequel to the older games, but gameplay is updated. Just like the originals, Streets of Rage 4 is best played as local co-op. This game brings back the classic Streets of Rage gameplay, but with some updates. Streets of Rage 4 is one of the best local co-op games on Xbox Series X/S, especially if you’re nostalgic for the arcade titles of the 90s.
